I’m a Kentucky-native. I’ve lived here nearly all my life – except for that four-year stint in Knoxville we’ll call ‘college.’  1997 was a busy year for me – I graduated and was married to my first wife, Joy – who, to her credit, is still my bride to this day.  We now have five awesome kids – very handsome and smart (a decent mix of both sides of the family).

The Lord led us to help start a church in a rural, bedroom community of Louisville in 1998 and we’re still at it.  It takes a lot of work – but it’s one of the most rewarding things I know of.  Honestly, it’s really the only thing I know.  We’ve had our share of ups and downs through the years, but God’s been faithful.  We’ve been blessed to see it grow and become a real ‘lighthouse’ in the community.

In 2010, the Lord put P4G on my heart as a ministry to empower & equip church leaders to better live & share the gospel.

Teaching, preaching, and writing are my passions.
The gospel is my life.
The local church is my calling.
My family is my joy.
Tech & hunting are my hobbies.
